For the last two major updates, we focused on massive optimization for the mobile platform, fixing plenty of bugs and formatting issues that have been plaguing the site for years!
General Improvements
UI updates and improvements to site pages, font, and widgets (Dropbars, scroll buttons, etc)
Mobile Optimization
Rolled out two updates that improved the mobile experience
Site pages and Apps should now run much faster, with minimal to no latency unless it is resource extensive (depending on the device)
Disabled certain overlays and widgets to improve overall quality
Fixed an issue that caused padding to be over-extended, causing visual issues, especially on smaller devices
Destiny 2 Dashboard
Removed the original introductory section to focus on the Live Activities section
The goal for this was to display core details immediately for quick access
QuickView is now located under the App Banner for convenience
Twitter Widgets and Recent Posts can now be viewed in a new Dropbar located on the top right of the page
Various fixes to all sections, including updates to the font, section width, and bug fixes
Pages
Fixed various bugs impacting a number of pages
Fixed formatting issues on mobile view
Fixed a backend issue preventing multiple icons and images from loading on the live site (after update 7.4.0)
Player Account is now called “Access Panel”
