MEMORIES: CONCLUSION TO THE LIGHT & DARK SAGA

“In Season of the Wish, Guardians return to the Dreaming City, where they embarked on a quest to uncover and collect the remaining eggs of Riven, the Ahamkara Wish Dragon, to make a final wish necessary to pursue the Witness. Guided by Mara Sov and Osiris, players navigated through Riven’s Lair and the Coil to locate Riven’s eggs, securing them as part of the arrangement between Riven and Mara Sov.

Throughout the season, Guardians ventured into the Black Garden and uncovered the secrets of Taranis, Riven’s beloved, and learned more about the Ahamkara. In the end, only one person was able to be pulled into the Pale Heart, and ultimately Crow was the one to cross over into the Pale Heart. Once Riven’s final wish was made, she disappeared. During “Into the Light,” the forces of the Witness lay siege to the Last City and surrounding areas, and Guardians participated in an Onslaught activity to fight back against the darkness. With the help of Lord Shaxx, he opened up the Hall of Champions, provided Brave weaponry – a return of classic fan favourite weapons, to help with the battles ahead. Crow and Mara were able to make a connection once Crow successfully crossed over. 

The season featured significant gameplay updates, such as the introduction of Fireteam Finder, a new in-game group-finding tool, and enhancements to the Crucible with new playlists, the return of The Citadel map and a new map pack. Players also experienced the return of the Dawning event and Moments of Triumph, celebrating their achievements throughout the Year of Lightfall.”
