The main objective is to defeat enemies and escort the Pyramid Splinter to its intended destination. To make it heroic, you will need to pick up resonant charges and throw them at the superweapon. Resonant Charges drop when defeating groups of enemies. Throwing 5-6 charges will make the event heroic, spawning additional bosses at the end of the event to eliminate.
Note: The Resonant Charges can be hard to see amongst the chaos of battle. Do a quick check after defeating enemies!
During each of this event’s three capture phases, Fallen Drones will be analyzing the Crux. Typically, two drones will be static and a third would be moving around. Destroy all three drones per capture phase. Once heroic, a taller Brig referred to as a Fallen Commodore will spawn. Destroy that mech to finish the heroic event.
Note: Be sure to destroy the drones before you reach 100% on the capture plates!
During each of this event’s three phases, a glimmer node will appear in each extraction zone. Destroy all three glimmer nodes to trigger the heroic variation. From there, stand in the pool of glimmer to capture it while facing fallen combatants.
Note: If you miss a phase, the next phase will have an additional node for you to destroy.
Once you have captured 32% of the drill, be on the lookout for a Cabal Thresher. Destroy the Thresher to trigger the heroic variation, which will then spawn a Cabal Boss.
Note: The Thresher will do a rotation until the public event ends. It is recommended to stop capturing the point until you destroy the ship.
When the event spawns, deal damage to the Servitor. At about 60% health, the Ether Servitor will spawn three smaller elite servitors. Destroy all three before they disappear.
Note: Be quick! The elite servitors do not stay for long. Use special or heavy ammo to destroy them quickly.
As the public event triggers, you will notice three force-fields surrounding the event. When the arsenal walker arrives, destroy a leg to spawn three arc charges. Use these arc charges to deactivate the force-fields (you will need six arc charges in total). Once the heroic variation is triggered, a second arsenal walker will arrive. Eliminate both walkers.
Note: Low on ammo? Each force-field has a Scorch Cannon, which you can use to destroy additional legs on the walker.
When the Injection Rig arrives, you will notice three open vents that immediately close. Those vents need to be destroyed in order to trigger the heroic event. To open the vents, eliminate the Elite Psion that spawns. You will have up to three phases to destroy the vents. Be careful! As the vents open, anyone inside the rig will start burning. Once the heroic is triggered, a Cabal boss will arrive. Eliminate the boss.
Note: Standing on the very edge of the heating aura will allow you to damage the vents without taking burn damage!
Stand on and secure the three capture plates that are located around the event. Beams of light from the spire will show the locations of the plates. When the heroic variant triggers, a Vex Hydra and two Vex Cyclops will spawn. Continue to defend the spire until time runs out.
Note: Be sure to defend the spire! You cannot let ten vex sacrifice, or you will lose the event!
Eliminate the two shielded Wizards by standing on the two Sigil plates. Continue to stand on the plates and the two crystals, located on each side of the portal, will lose their shields. Destroy the crystals. When the heroic variant is triggered, an Abysmal Champion will appear. Destroy the Hive boxx.
Note: Throw a grenade at the portal after destroying the wizards. Hive Thrall will spawn in hordes! Don’t end up like Vell Tarlowe.
When the event activates, you will notice three blights on the ground and one large blight above. You will need to destroy the large blight to trigger the heroic version. To do so, enter and exit the smaller blight to get the ‘Blight Receding’ buff, which will last for five seconds and allows you to deal with the main blight. Refrain from eliminating combatants surrounding the event, as you will make the event move to a secondary location. When the large blight is destroyed, a Taken Boss will appear. Destroy it.
Note: Fighting solo? The event has three phases, and each phase the large blight grows weaker. Wait until the last phase and deal your damage. Unless you have Wardcliff Coil. That’ll do the trick…
While you are capturing the Warsat, two shielded wizards will spawn every 25%. Destroying the wizards will allow the Shriekers to open up. Destroy all three Shriekers.
Note: Missed a Shrieker? Not to worry. You’ll be able to damage it after killing the next phase of Wizards.
Eliminate each Chieftain that spawns. White ether spores will begin floating toward the trapped servitor (middle structure). Shoot each ether spore and prevent them from reaching the Servitor. Repeat 3x. This will spawn the heroic variant and spawn a Scorn Baron. Eliminate the boss.
Note: You cannot let a single ether spore reach the servitor or you will not be able to make the event heroic!
Defend the rift generator. At the end of each wave, a Blight will spawn over the water at any of the sides. Repeat 3x and a giant Blight will spawn over the rift generator surrounded by three Wizards. Kill all three wizards before the rift generator is destroyed and you will be teleported into an Ascendant Realm. Deal damage to each of the wizards surrounding the Taken boss to trigger the heroic event. Destroy the Taken Boss before time runs out.
Note: During the waves of Scorn, abominations will spawn. Killing them spawns an arc charge. Deposit this into the rift generator to replenish its health, if needed.
