What is Endgame Content?

  • Destiny 2 offers a wide range of PvE endgame content, ranging from higher difficulty Lost Sectors, Conquests, Dungeons and Raids!
  • Higher-difficulty content typically requires stronger gear, optimized builds, specific weapon and armour mods, and pre-formed fireteams as most activity content at this level is not matchmaking-enabled.
  • This page goes over the Pantheon, Destiny 2’s raid boss gauntlet, including how they work, power level requirements, quick access to video guides, and information on raid seals.

Getting Started with the Pantheon

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Pantheon?

  • Pantheon is a raid boss gauntlet that brings together iconic Destiny 2 raid encounters in a focused endgame format.
  • Instead of completing an entire raid from start to finish, Pantheon challenges players to fight curated boss encounters, reprised mechanics, and encounter remixes that test team coordination, build strength, damage output, and encounter knowledge.
  • Pantheon is designed for players who enjoy raid-style boss fights, high-pressure mechanics, and chasing endgame rewards without committing to a full raid run every time.
Is the Pantheon free-to-play?

Yes! Pantheon is free to play.

How do you launch the Pantheon?
  • You can access it directly from the Raids and Dungeons (Endgame Ops) node located on the updated Destinations screen.
Which bosses are included in the pool?
  • The activity features legendary and sunset encounters including Emperor Calus, Argos (Planetary Core), Gahlran, Warpriest, Consecrated Mind, Morgeth, and the final 7-boss apex encounter, Insurrection Prime.
What are the different difficulty tiers?
  • Adventure: A lower-stakes practice mode with a lifted power cap, infinite revives, and wider mechanic timers.
  • Standard/Custom: Difficult endgame scaling where power handicaps worsen as you progress (ranging from +5 up to +20 at the final bosses).
What are Feats?
  • Feats are optional modifiers and high-difficulty criteria.
  • Activating more Feats increases the challenge but drastically scales up the amount of Tier 5 gear dropped.
  • Pantheon is a boss-focused endgame activity built around raid encounters.
  • It condenses the raid experience into curated boss fights, encounter remixes, and gauntlet-style challenges.
  • Pantheon is ideal for players who want raid-level coordination, boss damage checks, and endgame rewards without always running a full raid.
  • Rewards can include weapons, armor, cosmetics, emblems, Triumph progress, and title-related objectives.
  • Pantheon is especially useful for players who want to practice raid mechanics, farm featured encounters, or chase high-difficulty completions with a focused team.

How do they work?

  • Pantheon activities feature selected raid bosses or encounter combinations.
  • Some encounters are reprised versions of familiar fights, updated for the current sandbox.
  • Other encounters may combine mechanics from multiple activities, creating new team responsibilities and strategies.
  • Teams need to manage add-clear, boss damage, mechanic execution, revives, positioning, and encounter-specific roles.
  • Weekly featured bosses can help players focus specific rewards or practice individual encounters without committing to a full gauntlet.
  • Full gauntlet runs are more demanding and are best approached with a coordinated team that understands each encounter.

Pantheon Challenges, Feats & Difficulty

  • Pantheon difficulty increases as teams move into harder activities, gauntlets, or Feat-based objectives.
  • Feats add extra challenge conditions and can be required for specific Triumphs, emblems, or title progress.
  • Teams should learn the base version of an encounter before attempting Feat-based clears.
  • Communication is extremely important, especially when mechanics are remixed or combined with other encounter rules.
  • Boss damage matters, but survivability and clean mechanic execution are usually more important than raw damage alone.
  • A wipe is normal while learning. Pantheon is built around repetition, refinement, and better team execution over time.
  • Start small! Start with Adventure mode which is an easier experience, providing more time and unlimited revives to get some practice in before completing normal mode.

Before You Run Pantheon

  • Review the boss or encounter mechanics before joining a group.
  • Bring a microphone or be ready to communicate clearly through text/chat.
  • Prepare both add-clear and boss damage options.
  • Bring survivability tools such as healing, damage resistance, restoration, woven mail, overshields, invisibility, or other defensive options.
  • Make sure your loadout can handle Champions, shields, or activity modifiers if they are present.
  • Be honest about your experience level when joining a team.
  • Start with normal clears before attempting Feats, gauntlets, or title-focused runs.
