What are Ritual Weapons?
- Ritual Weapons are unique weapons with static rolls being offered in a given season that can be obtained by one of the core vendors: Commander Zavala, Lord Shaxx, or The Drifter
- Some Ritual Weapons were obtained through quests but more recently, they are obtained through ranking up with your core vendor. This guide will explain more about this!
- NOTE: Legacy Ritual Weapons are stored in the Exotic Kiosk in the Tower Courtyard

Choose Your Path
- For Ritual Weapons being offered in Year 8 and Beyond, Guardians are able to choose how they wish to pursue their weapon.
- Ritual Weapons can be obtained by gaining reputation with either Commander Zavala (Strikes), Lord Shaxx (Crucible) or the Drifter (Gambit). Reputation can be earned through playing through core activities.
- TIP: Activity Streaks have been enabled. Stay in the Playlist queue to earn additional reputation gains for that activity. Note that leaving the queue or going AFK will end your streak (excluding going to the Tower, H.E.L.M or going to Orbit).
Ornaments
- Once a Ritual Weapon has been obtained, ornaments for that weapon will become available to earn through core activities.
- Commander Zavala, Lord Shaxx, and the Drifter will all offer ornaments for each Year 8 Ritual Weapon.
- For Reckless Endangerment, resetting your Rank twice for each vendor will earn you that specific ornament.
- TIP: Use Activity Streaks and take advantage of Weekly Bonuses that occur from time to time for the most efficient reputation gains.
