Armor Set Bonuses Guide
Learn more about Armor Set Bonuses and view a list of every armor set bonus currently available in Destiny 2 that includes what each set bonus does, how to acquire them, and what sets work best for certain builds.

What are Armor Set Bonuses?

  • Armor Set Bonuses are the Armor 3.0 version of armor origin traits, with perks activating at 2 pieces and 4 pieces.
  • Equipping 2 matching pieces activates the first bonus, and equipping 4 matching pieces activates the stronger/expanded bonus.
    • In practice, this means players can run either a 4-piece legendary set + 1 Exotic, or mix two separate 2-piece bonuses with one Exotic depending on the build goal.
