Limited Time Event: Call to Arms

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I participate in the event?
  • Speak with Devrim Kay in the Tower to start the event quest line and access the specific “Portal” activities tied to the Call to Arms Event.
  • You can access all relevant Call to Arms details through the Portal.
What are the main rewards?
  • Rewards include powerful daily gear shipments from a chest near Devrim, the event reward track (up to Rank 40) for weapons and cosmetics, and exclusive competitive cosmetics (helmet ornament, emblem) based on your percentile rank (e.g., Top 10%, Top 1%) when the event ends.
Should I care about my Power level for scoring?
  • Bungie has tuned the scoring so that lower-Power players get a boost to offset the original impact of Power level.
  • While a higher Power level still provides a slight edge, skilled execution with high challenge modifiers is the most important factor for a top score, making broad competition possible.
How does scoring work in PvE activities?
  • Scoring in PvE activities is primarily driven by efficiently killing enemies, with higher points awarded for Majors (orange/yellow bars) and Ultras (bosses).
  • You gain bonus points from specific actions like precision kills, finishers on high-value targets, and generating Orbs of Power.
  • Speed is also a factor, as score gain can be reduced after a certain time threshold (e.g., around 18 minutes for some activities).
Which activities are best for top scores?

Specific to the Season of Reclamation 2025 Call to Arms Event:

  • Many top players use The Salt Mines (Solo Ops) or Proving Grounds due to their enemy density and potential for high score runs.
  • The key is finding the activity where you can consistently achieve the fastest, most efficient clears with the highest modifiers.
Which modifiers should I use for a top score run?
  • To maximize your score multiplier, you need to enable all possible negative modifiers (those with red triangles) that you and your team can handle.
  • Modifiers like “All Bows” or “Precision Weapons Only” (Player Stakes) and “Grounded” or “All Ammo Famine” (Challenge modifiers) significantly increase your potential score.
  • Experiment to find a combination that maximizes your multiplier without making the run impossible or too slow.

Bungie has made the following changes for Call to Arms activities:

  • Changed Boons to add 0 red triangles. Players will be able to choose any Boon without impacting their overall score.
  • Changed all gear player stakes to add 5 green triangles in Call to Arms activities, matching “All Bows”.
Is it easier to get a top score with a team or solo?
  • High scores are possible both solo (especially in Solo Ops like the Salt Mines) and with a coordinated fireteam.
  • A team can provide better elemental coverage, quicker clears, and easier management of tough modifiers.
  • Solo runs, or matchmade activities offer consistency but require high personal skill and a bit of luck in coordination.
    • Coordination and understanding what to do in an activity (especially if it’s a Pinnacle Ops) is key!
My score keeps dropping in the rankings. Why?
  • The leaderboards are competitive and dynamic.
  • As more players complete activities throughout the event’s duration, the score thresholds for each percentile (Top 30%, Top 10%, Top 1%) constantly increase.
  • You may need to rerun activities to post higher scores to maintain your rank.
  • Check the leaderboards daily!
  • Call to Arms is a limited time event that tasks Guardians to earn top scores in certain activities to earn unique rewards.
  • Devrim will be your point of contact in the Tower for this event.

How does this event work?

  • Play Call to Arms activities from the Event Home to receive Competitor Points
  • Visit the Tower each day to open a Daily Shipment of gear. Except for the first time opening a Daily Shipment, the size of the shipment is based on your Competitor Points.
  • Attune to weapons with Devrim to increase the chance of an additional drop of that weapon from Portal and Call to Arms activities.
  • All players can earn exclusive cosmetics such as a new Exotic weapon ornament for New Malpais by completing Event Ranks which also unlock rewards including a Sparrow, Ship, Ghost Shell, Shader, Finisher, and Holofoil weapons.
    • Complete activities, daily objectives and weekly objectives to unlock items from the Reward Track, which has 40 levels!
    • Tip for Daily Objectives that require weapon kills: Go to the Altars of Sorrow on the Moon! Saves you a lot of time so you can get back to the competition!

Competitive Format, Reward Eligibility

  • Call to Arms’ competition asks Guardians to compete against each other for high scores in any, or all, of five different Portal activities.
  • At the end of the event, Guardians will receive prestigious prizes based on their final competitive standing in each of the activities.
  • Launching Call to Arms activities from the Event Home will make you and your fireteam eligible for competitive high scores.
  • The activities during the Season of Reclamation Call to Arms event are as follows:
    • Heliostat
    • The Coil
    • Salt Mines
    • Proving Grounds
    • Zone Control
  • Your high scores are awarded competitor points based on how that score compares to the scores, as a percentile, of all other Guardians.
  • The total number of competitor points determines the rewards received at the end of the event.

How Competitor Points Work & Potential Prizes

  • To give perspective, Guardians who can earn a top 10% score for two of the five Call to Arms activities will earn enough competitor points to be eligible for the new universal helmet ornament.
    • The best of the best Guardians scoring in the top 1% in just one activity will also have enough competitor points to be eligible for that same reward.
  • Here is a breakdown of all the prestigious competitive prizes that can be earned in the Season of Reclamation Call to Arms event:
    • Two new emblems – one granted to all players who post a high score, and one for top-scoring Guardians.
    • New transmat
    • New shader
    • Legendary universal helmet ornament
    • New Exotic Weapon Ornament
  • See our Loot Pool section for more information!
